Reasons and troubleshooting methods for pneumatic valve sealing equipment failures

The main faults of pneumatic valves are poor operation and leakage, mainly due to factors such as condensed water, dust, rust, poor lubrication, and unqualified sealing product quality in the compressed air. How to eliminate faults in the sealing components of pneumatic valves? Baivalve tells you that various troubleshooting methods are listed below for different causes of faults.
1、 What are the reasons why valve seals cannot be reversed?
1. Poor lubrication, high sliding resistance and starting friction;
2. The sealing element has a large amount of compression due to movement or expansion deformation;
3. Dust or oil stains stuck on the valve seat;
4. Damaged or stuck spring seals;
5. The control piston has a small area and low operating force;
【 Exclusion method 】
1. Improve lubrication level;
2. Reduce the compression amount of the sealing element appropriately;
3. Remove dust and oil stains;
4. Reassemble or replace the spring;
5. Increase the piston area or operating force.
2、 Why is the valve sealing position leaking?
1. The compression amount of the sealing element is too small or damaged;
2. Damaged valve stem or valve seat;
3. The casting has shrinkage cavities;
4. Damaged buffer seal
【 Exclusion method 】
1. Increase compression appropriately and replace sealing products;
2. Replace the valve stem and valve seat;
3. Replace the casting;
4. Replace the sealing components;
3、 What is the cause of vibration inside the valve seal?
1. Low pressure;
2. Low voltage;
【 Exclusion method 】
1. Increase the pilot operating pressure;
2. Increase the power supply voltage or change the coil parameters.
